Seniors Physical Activities Autumn 2007
Mon Swim fit – 9 to 10am at GASA’s big pool, lane swimming under the guidance of by Angela. Starts first week in October
Badminton, carpet bowls, soft tennis and table tennis at the Victoria Stadium sports hall 1.30 to 3.30pm. Sports Assistants on hand to give guidance on sports. Starts Monday 1st October.
Tues Aquaerobics – 9.15 to 10am. Exercises in the water for seniors. Session led by Michelle
Power Walking – 9.45 to 10.15am. Meet at Casemates. Walkers will leave at 10am sharp, so don’t be late. Session led by Herminia, Luana, Julia and gang. Tel Herminia on 41269 or mobile 54025113. Starts 2nd October.
Seniors Swimming – 10am to 12noon at GASA’s small pool. Tel GASA on 72869 for further information.
Wed Yoga– 9.30 to 11am. Class with Karen Chevasco held at the Yoga Centre.
Donations accepted.
Aquaerobics –2 classes - 2 to 2.45pm & 3pm to 3.45pm. Exercises in the water for seniors. Session led by Leslie.
Thurs Exercise to Music – 9.45 to 11am at the Victoria
Stadium sports hall. Classes include mobility, aerobic, strength & endurance and flexibility exercises. Session led by Michelle. Tel 76522 for further information. Starts 4th October.
Friday Aquaerobics Sponsored by Masbro Insurance – 1 to
1.45pm. Exercises in the water for seniors led by Rosalind & Christine.
Fri & Sat
Tai Chi – Fridays at the Judo Centre from 6.30 to 8pm and Saturdays at the Yoga Centre from 12noon to 1.30pm. Classes led by Dilip. Donations accepted. (Please note there are Tai Chi classes on other days of the week, but these are not specifically for seniors). Tel Dilip on 78714 for further information.
